If you missed the world cup you missed some great racing. The best was on sat when Blachford and Jammie Staff had contact. Velonews is tring to say that Blachford was comming around Staff to take the sprinters lane but that's not what happened. I was working as a volunteer in the Video booth and what happened is that the 19 year old had contact with Staff and used his elbow to flick Staffs arms off the bars and he went over the bars and onto the wood, but it wasn't over when he hit the pine. As Blatchford came around cooling down Staff throws his helmet at Blatchford getting DQed. The lame thing about that is the UCI guys were asking us to review the tape for the infraction and they were going give the race to Staff for illegal contact. His lose the US gain! And in the losers round Blachford came out of the sprinters lane into the Polish riders lane when he was coming around forcing him up in the turn where he sat up giving the US the win, very weak! But Sara Hammer rocked the house in the scratch race where she came to the front with around 16 laps lest in the race and slowly ramped up the speed to a point where none of the sprinters could get around and won by superior power and drive...
