Actually, first hand footage was AT the track.....It was a fun race, but the best races thus far were the Men's Kerin on Wed and the Men's Gold Final for sprints.
There are videos of these as well on fixedgearfever.com on the forum.
Was great racing. Sarah Hammer dominated the Endurance events thus far. She caught her pursuit buddy within 6 laps, then in the points race I believe she lapped the field within 4 laps or so. Wow, she is strong! |

I believe the crash was in the scratch race and keirin. I don't remember a crash in the points race.
The most exciting this week was Adam D kicking butt against 4 spike riders in the keirin, then Almost doing it again in the match sprints! |

It seems like CREF Team schooled everyone else and the other times were nowhere to even being close. Almost like there are 2 levels of riders. USACycling seems to have abandoned their track program from the Nothstein days. Our only hope for an Olympic or Worlds medal seems to fall on Sarah Hammer.
What is being done to make track racing bigger and better?
