Yes, I know this is not a road race but I also know that alot of you out there are also Mountain Bike racers. Half the MTB racers I know go to the Buds ride to train.

So there is going to be this Mountain Bike race in Temecula, at Vail Lake on June 24. Besides 100% pro payback there is also a hill climb, short and steep, that a prize of $1000 will be up for grabs.

Just think. Once you are done with the race you can hop on your road bike and ride up Mt. Palomar for fun.
