Great Race, great venue. Hope more ladies support this event next year. I drove a nice 3 hours, but it was totally worth it. It is so fun to finally have a race that is not in an industrial park.
Thank you Mr Burton! |

Agreed.
Though this race is practically in my back yard (5 minute commute)... it's still consistently a pretty good crit, venue-wise and race-wise. I appreciated seeing all the folks that had those few hour drives to get there.
bmb, great job today. You rode one hell of a race. Way to hang it out there. |

Ya, but your little woman bridged herself (and the field to us...) no worries, I know she wanted to work hard, that was my plan to. Was just a bummer with only 2 corners left!......Was a great effort, my legs are almost back to where they were before I had pneumonia and was off the bike for 2 weeks so I am pleased.
Hope to see folks drive down to the new course in CHula Vista on 6/8! I hear it is brand new pavement!!! |
