In regards to the "waving at people poll".

I used to always wave, maybe got a small number of people to wave back....then I stopped waving for that reason and also because if I had to wave at everybody that I saw around here I would never get my riding in....

I wave or nod at pretty much everyone I pass but that is probably because I come from the motorcycle community where we all wave at eachother. It is a customary practice.

I know the addage we motorcyclist have is:

"Ride like you are invisible and everyone is out to get you, because you are and they are."
