Hate to say this, but it does not get any better in the 3'.
I went down in Brea and spent a couple of days in the hospital. The 5' and 4' crash because they are either tired or not focused. The 3' go down because of how aggresive they are...
That was my first race after Brea and I was lucky not to go down in the one crash that happened with 1 mile to go - fighting for positioning before the turn. I decided not to contest the sprint (neither could I, still have broken ribs and messed up lungs) but I saw a lot of pushing near the end...
Can't wait to ride the 1/2 race.....but how things have been going lately it will be a while.....
